Key The Metal Idol

Giving this sci-fi anime a try, I was quite impressed with how it went. A robot girl named Tokiko Mima, or “Key” moves to Tokyo after her grandfather dies. His dying wish for Key was that she make 30,000 friends in order for her to become human. Key becomes reacquainted with an old high school friend, Sakura and they meet other acquaintances along the way. An evil corporation called Ajo, which uses robots as pop idols plans to get Key. Key, not knowing of this evil wants to become a pop idol herself.

This anime has a lot of twists, turns and reminds us what it truly means to be human.
